SSL certificates

An SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate is a network security protocol that ensures the confidentiality of data transmission. Data transferred between a web browser and a web server is encrypted and remains private and secure from unauthorized access.
  •     An SSL certificate is issued based on verification of the right to own a DV (Domain Validation) domain, which is the fastest method thanks to shortened and simplified verification procedures.
  •     The SuperFAST SSL certificate is issued by the national DomainSSL Authorization Center, which ensures simpler contact and clear rules while maintaining global online security standards.
  •     A Wildcard SSL certificate enables encryption of all first-level subdomains in addition to the main domain.
Server administrators can apply for a certificate for servers in the pwr.edu.pl domain by logging in at https://cm.harica.gr. University federation data is used for logging in.
