IT Resources Inventory Support

The IT asset inventory training is designed to provide the practical knowledge and skills necessary to independently identify, record, and manage assets within an organization. Understanding your own infrastructure is essential for implementing best practices and security standards, as well as for creating reliable documentation of the IT environment.

The training program has been designed for both organizations with extensive infrastructure and those just beginning their digital transformation process. Particular emphasis is placed on developing participants’ skills so that, upon completion of the training, they will be able to independently conduct an inventory process and make informed choices regarding the appropriate tools and methods.

The training covers:

•     basic and advanced topics related to IT asset inventory,
•     the role of inventory in the context of security and compliance,
•     methods for conducting inventory based on the scale and complexity of the infrastructure,
•     available tools (automated and agent-based) along with criteria for selecting them,
•     options for integrating tools with existing systems,
•     organization of the inventory process—remote and on-site approaches.

The training is hands-on and can be conducted in the form of workshops, during which participants work in real or simulated environments, learning how to configure tools, collect data, and analyze it.

The result of the training is to prepare the team to independently conduct and maintain the resource inventory process, which translates into better control over the infrastructure, increased security, and improved IT environment management.

Conducting the training requires only basic organizational preparation and can be tailored to the participants’ level of knowledge and the specific characteristics of the client’s environment.
