WRO4digITal is a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) based in Wrocław, created by a consortium of 22 institutions offering comprehensive support in the digital transformation process. The project leader is Wrocław Technology Park, and one of the partners is Wrocław University of Science and Technology, including WCSS.
WRO4digITal is implemented by a consortium of 22 institutions offering comprehensive support in the digital transformation process. The project leader is Wrocław Technology Park, and one of the partners is Wrocław University of Science and Technology, including WCSS. The activities of the Wrocław hub will increase the competitiveness of local companies, improve the availability of qualified staff, and accelerate the modernization of public administration, which together will contribute to economic growth and improve the quality of life in the region.

WRO4digITal is a member of the trans-European network European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH), which is the European Commission's primary tool for supporting and coordinating the digital transformation of the European Union's economy. The project's activities cover three main areas recommended in the Digital Europe program, namely: artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), and cybersecurity. The project also offers services based on other digital technologies, including cloud computing, big data, blockchain, the Internet of Things, virtual/augmented reality, modern solutions in the field of automation and robotics, and additive manufacturing. The project provides free access to the specialized knowledge and laboratories of its partners. It connects technology data providers with potential business partners, creating a network to support digital innovation in the economy. 

The WRO4DigilTal offer is addressed to two target groups – the first are companies from the SME sector, including micro-enterprises and start-ups, and the second is public administration, e.g., local government units and schools. Activities under WRO4digITal are carried out regionally in Lower Silesia, but the project also has an international dimension, as part of a pan-European network of digital innovation centers.

As part of its tasks in the project, WCSS is responsible for providing the following services: The services provided under the project constitute expert support for those seeking digital solutions with the greatest potential for implementation, tailored to the specific needs of a given company or institution. All services are offered free of charge.

The project “WRO4digITal European Digital Innovation Hub Wrocław – Ecosystem for sustainable digital growth of Lower Silesia” is co-financed by the Digital Europe Program (DEP – Digital Europe Programme) on the basis of grant agreement No. 101083533 concluded between the European Commission and the Project Partners, and from the European Funds for Modern Economy 2021-2027 Programme on the basis of grant agreement No. FENG.02.22-IP.02-0007/ 23-00 under Measure 02.22 Co-financing of EDIH activities, Priority Axis II. Environment conducive to innovation, European Funds for Modern Economy Program, 2021–2027 (FENG) concluded between Wrocław Technology Park S.A. and the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development on December 21, 2023.
