WRO4digITal is a member of the trans-European network European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH), which is the European Commission's primary tool for supporting and coordinating the digital transformation of the European Union's economy. The project's activities cover three main areas recommended in the Digital Europe program, namely: artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), and cybersecurity. The project also offers services based on other digital technologies, including cloud computing, big data, blockchain, the Internet of Things, virtual/augmented reality, modern solutions in the field of automation and robotics, and additive manufacturing. The project provides free access to the specialized knowledge and laboratories of its partners. It connects technology data providers with potential business partners, creating a network to support digital innovation in the economy.
The WRO4DigilTal offer is addressed to two target groups – the first are companies from the SME sector, including micro-enterprises and start-ups, and the second is public administration, e.g., local government units and schools. Activities under WRO4digITal are carried out regionally in Lower Silesia, but the project also has an international dimension, as part of a pan-European network of digital innovation centers.
As part of its tasks in the project, WCSS is responsible for providing the following services:
- Specialized training: Cybersecurity solutions – how to design and maintain them?
- Security audit of infrastructure and web applications.
- Analysis of company processes in order to select digital solutions for data processing.
- Individual digital transformation plans for cloud, computing, and data management services.
- Pilot implementation of cloud, computing, and data management services.
